The Sale Moor Source magazine has been reaching the community since 2002. Over that time it has celebrated everyone’s efforts to make Sale Moor a better place to live.
One of the main aspirations when the Sale Moor Community Partnership was formed was to ensure that the community was kept informed of local events and activities that mattered to the lives of people living in Sale Moor. A magazine was seen as the best method of reaching a wide range of people.
Since it first came out the magazine has taken on a few guises. Initially it was a newsletter, then a magazine and then an admittedly misguided attempt to make it a “lifestyle” magazine at one point before returning to its current format.
We can now also combine the delivered magazine with social media tools such as the Sale Moor Facebook page, the Sale Moor Community Learning Centre Facebook and on Twitter @salemoorcp to give people connected to the internet “live” news of events and activities in Sale Moor and the wider Trafford area.
The magazine is delivered to 2,000 homes in the community on a quarterly basis. If you want a paper copy of a previous issue then contact us on source@salemoorcp.org
